Macaroni and Tuna Salad Recipe

macaroni-saladOur canned tuna and macaroni salad recipe is a great summer dish for outdoor picnics or backyard bbq’s

Recipe Ingredients:

(serves approximately 8)

1 pound of macaroni
3 celery (chop finely)
1/2 cup red onion (diced)
1/2 cup fresh parsley (finely chopped)
1 carrot (grated)
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1 can of tuna (drained)
salt and pepper

Directions:


1) Boil a large pot of water. Add macaroni and cook according to directions on package.  Once cooked, drain and rinse with cold water.

2) Combine celery, parsley, onion, carrot and canned tuna in large bowl. Combine with cooled macaroni and toss.  In a little bowl blend yogurt, vinegar and mayonnaise and add salt and pepper to taste.  Add mixture to pasta and toss.  Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Recipe Variations: You can easily adjust this canned tuna salad dish by adding a different variety of vegetable or using different kinds of short pastas
